Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or Physics.
- 3+ years of experience in Model Development, Quantitative Research, or related function involving hands on coding and implementing complex mathematical, stochastic, and/or actuarial concepts and algorithms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree.
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation.
- Experience in insurance industry, specifically with Hedging and/or Variable Annuity products.
- C/C++, Python and/or MATLAB coding experience.
- Familiarity with techniques such as parallel computing or distributed systems to handle large-scale models.

Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience.
Problem Solving: Utilizing established analytical and technical skills to develop and apply approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Programming: Knowledge of relevant programming languages and tools; ability to test, write, design, debug, troubleshoot and maintain source codes and computer programs.
Statistics and Actuarial Modeling: Knowledge of statistical and actuarial modeling tools and techniques; ability to apply modeling processes and techniques to facilitate risk management decisions.
